Making a Difference

JANS School was established in the year 1989 by our beloved Principal Late Mrs. Meher Nigar. From being a humble home maker to a distinguished leader in the society. She addressed the lack of quality schools in Chitlapakkam by establishing the first private school in a small premise in Seethapathy Street Chitlapakkam. School was named after Late Dr.Chotajan (Former Additional Director of Rural Development).

Founder Late Mrs. Meher Nigar was known for Leadership qualities, Knowledge, Reputation, Ethics, Discipline, Women empowerment and Entrepreneurship. She helped cultivate numerous smart minds from LKG to 10th over the past 30 years. School under her Stewardship is known for quality education and laying the foundation for bright minds. JANS Alumni have shined all over the world, known for discipline and solid foundation that they received during their time in the school. She was as a Role Model for All Women and overcame numerous challenges in her life time to setup this school.
